18 marzo 2013, Pomarance (Pi) – Il grande campione toscano Paolo Bettini sarà al via della 16a edizione della manifestazione che porta il suo nome: la Greenfondo Paolo Bettini – La Geotermia del 14 aprile a Pomarance (Pi). Dopo aver salutato gli agonisti schierati in griglia in attesa dello start, che sarà dato alle 10,00, Bettini si recherà al punto timbro, posto allo Spazio Savioli, da dove inizierà a pedalare con i cicloturisti che vorranno andare con lui. Bettini si fermerà più volte nel corso delle sue pedalate per salutare il passaggio del gruppo.
Quest’anno il Velo Etruria Pomarance ha deciso di aprire la manifestazione ai cicloturisti dato che molte persone, come gli stessi organizzatori dell’evento hanno saputo parlando con i ciclisti, hanno timore di partire con il gruppo agonistico. Ecco allora che per i cicloturisti sono state decise la partenza alla francese dalle 9,30 alle 9,55 e la possibilità di affrontare tutti i percorsi previsti: lungo, medio e corto. Per i cicloturisti non è previsto il chip, ma ci saranno una serie di timbri a tutti i ristori. Alla fine contribuiranno a portare punti alla loro squadra per la classifica di società, calcolati in base ai chilometri percorsi. Sul lungo sarà previsto un cancello al primo passaggio da Pomarance: chi lo toccherà dopo le 14,00 sarà indirizzato sul medio.
L’iscrizione per i cicloturisti sarà di € 15 euro. Per iscriversi basterà seguire le stesse modalità degli agonisti. Info al link http://veloetruriapomarance.it/2011/?page_id=185.
Iscrizioni per gli agonisti: € 30 fino a giovedì 11 aprile. Da venerdì 12 aprile e fino alle ore 9,00 di domenica 14 aprile la quota d’iscrizione sarà di € 40.
